CBI was founded in 2005 by Jeanne Hardy, who saw a gap in the financial advisory market for creative business owners.
The companies she worked with were ambitious, complex, and growing, but they were often misunderstood by traditional advisors who didn’t fully grasp the nuances of creative industries.
Jeanne built CBI to meet that need: a firm that combines financial expertise with a deep understanding of how creative businesses actually operate. Over the last two decades, she has grown CBI alongside the creator economy, expanding its services to support the increasing complexity of the businesses it serves.
Today, Jeanne leads CBI as a strategic partner and advocate for internationally recognized artists, gallery owners, agencies, studios, and creative founders. Her work is grounded in a belief that creative businesses deserve financial guidance that is both sophisticated and deeply attuned to the people, industries, and ideas behind the numbers.
